Ripple Effect Premiere

Star Trek writer Marc Scott Zicree has created a hopeful vision of the future in this space-going sci-fi show that fans have donated over $1.5 million to make.  The first three hours of the twelve-hour season were shot and Zicree was prepping hour four at his Space Command Studios when the Covid-19 pandemic struck.

But that didn’t stop him – or his wife and writing-directing-producing partner Elaine Zicree.  Sheltered in place at the beginning of May, they came up with a special two-hour Space Command episode entitled “Ripple Effect” that their actors could film in their own homes with their own cameras.

A dazzling all-star cast signed on, and shooting took place in Los Angeles, New York, Sacramento, Atlanta, Saskatchewan and Portugal. American actors collaborated with their British, Venezuelan and Israeli counterparts, with one scene shot entirely in Spanish.  Ages of the cast ranged from nine to eighty-eight!

In less than two months, this amazing episode has been completed!  It will premiere at the Space Command Online Convention June 28th, accompanied by live panels with the stars.
